PVC Foam 8lb

Manufactured from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), this light density grey foam of 8lbs/ft³ is an economical, general purpose tape for use in applications requiring positive seals on irregular surfaces or when flex and conformability to seal tight radius curves are considered critical.

Closed cell PVC foam products are easy to compress and completely seals out air, moisture, light, and dust penetration. PVC foam can also absorb shocks, cushion, deaden sound, and eliminate excess vibration. It provides an excellent buffer between contact surfaces.

It has a recommended service temperature of -40 to 180°F (-40 to 82°C) and is inherently resistant to fire, ultraviolet rays, most chemicals, acids and solvents. This material also has excellent resistance to fungi, oxidation, and weather. PVC foam is supplied with single sided adhesive backing.
