Neoprene F.F.
Fabric Finish Neoprene is a textured, synthetic black rubber material produced from the polymerization of chloroprene. Neoprene is a popular elastomer for rubber gasketing due to its excellent adhesion qualities and general-purpose versatility that can suit a wide variety of indoor and outdoor applications. The textured fabric finish adds on an excellent seal adherence to the neoprene rubber.
Fabric Finish Neoprene generally has an overall good weathering and compression resistance. It has flame retarding properties and also has resistance to petroleum-based fluids. It can resist moderate chemicals and acids, ozone, sunlight, Oil, fats, greases and many solvents.
This material has a high tensile strength and a working temperature range of -20 to +170°F (-29 to 77°C). Custom Gaskets Ltd. supplies Fabric Finish Neoprene in Shore “A” hardness of either 60 or 70 durometer.
