Nitrile (AB-375)

Nitrile AB-375 is a smooth, premium grade black sheet rubber manufactured by American Biltrite™. It has a hardness of 70 durometer and withstands a wide range of service temperatures generally from -20 to 200°F (-30 to 93°C).

Nitrile, also known as Buna-N, is a popular elastomer that is manufactured from a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. This material is ideal for machinery gaskets and is perfect for those in and around oil and gas handling equipment due to its excellent resistance to diesel and biodiesel.

AB-375 proudly features superior resistance to petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, excellent resistance to diesel and biodiesel, and also offers very good resistance to alkalis and acids. It provides little resistance to strong oxidant agents, chlorate hydrocarbons, ketones and esters.
