PVC Foam 15lb

Made from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), this double faced glazing tape has a medium density of 15lbs/ft³ for general purpose sealing and glazing applications.

Closed cell PVC foam products completely seals out air, moisture, light, and dust penetration. PVC foam maintains a seal in high movement joints and also absorb shocks, cushion, deaden sound, and eliminate excess vibration. It insulates against temperature and effectively functions as a thermal break and insulator. It is a clean, waste-free substitute for liquid sealants.

It has a recommended service temperature of -30 to 200°F (-35 to 90°C) and is inherently resistant to fire, ultraviolet rays, most chemicals, acids and solvents. This material has excellent resistance to fungi, oxidation, weather; and has been tested and approved to AAMA 810.1 expanded cellular glazing tapes. PVC foam is coated on both sides with a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA).
