Silicone FDA red
The kSil™ GP60 silicone rubber is a red, FDA grade elastomer sheeting that is common in food applications where rubber materials are repeatedly used in contact with food. GP60 has a durometer of 60 and a working temperature range of -76°F to 392°F (-60 to 200°C) and up to 446°F (230°C) intermittent. This product has been approved by the Water Regulations Advisory Service (WRAS) for use with potable water at temperatures up to 185°F (85°C).
Silicone rubber products are known to have an excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light, corona discharge, cosmic radiation, ionising radiation, fungus, and weathering in general. Furthermore, silicone rubber is an excellent choice for any gasket and sealing solutions that require resistance to extreme high and low temperatures and it is easily die cut.
Our silicone rubber can be supplied with or without single-sided Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) backing.
