SCE41B is a soft density foam of 4-8lbs/ft³ that is formulated from a blend of the polymers Neoprene, EPDM, and SBR. With the combination of these unique sets of properties, SCE41B makes an excellent gasket material that can be used in various indoor and outdoor gasketing, weatherproofing, sealing, and cushioning applications.

Neoprene/EPDM/SBR closed cell foam has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, ozone, sunlight, and oxidation. It shows fair resistance to oil and gas, aromatic hydrocarbons and ketones, with poor resistance to chlorinated solvents. It is also ideal for reducing vibrations and sound transmissions. It has a service temperature of -40 to 200°F (-40 to 93°C) and is UL-94 listed. SCE41B can be supplied plain or with adhesive backing.
