KLINGERSIL^® C-4500

KLINGERSIL^® C-4500 is a compressed fiber material with excellent chemical and sealability characteristics.

KLINGERSIL^® C-4500 is manufactured from carbon fibers with a nitrile binder system (NBR) and is an exceptional gasket material for steam and high temperature applications sealing liquids at temperatures up to 850°F (454°C) and gases and steam at temperatures up to 550°F (287°C).

This material is typically used in industries such as petrochemical, chemical, food, paper and transportation as a gasket or seal for compressors, pipe flanges, manways, pumps and valves in applications that require a high internal pressure gasket material.
