VOLARA^® 2A

2A Volara® is an irradiation cross-linked polyolefin polyethylene foam with an excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties. It has a low density of 2lbs/ft³ and a temperature range of -40 to 160°F (-40 to 71°C). Foam of this variety is often used as construction gap fillers, gaskets, custom packaging, flooring underlay, and other industrial or commercial applications. 2A Volara® can be used in many gasketing applications to seal against dust, air and water. Due to its fine, closed cellular structure, 2A Volara® can be compression molded and will thermoform.

This material has a smooth surface and can be supplied plain, or with single or double sided adhesive. 2A Volara® passes the flammability standard of FMVSS-302 and is FDA compliant (white only).
