Silicone FDA (metectSil™)

The metectSil™ ST60 is a blue Metal Detectable silicone rubber sheeting material that has been tested to and is in compliance with the American Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) and Directive EC. ST60 has a durometer of 63 and has a working temperature range of -76°F to 392°F (60 to 200°C) and up to 482°F (250°C) intermittent.

Silicone rubber products are known to have an excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation, ultraviolet light, corona discharge, cosmic radiation, ionising radiation and weathering in general. Furthermore, silicone rubber is an excellent choice for any gasket and sealing solutions that require resistance to extreme high and low temperatures and it is easily die cut.
