Nitrile (Garlock^® 9122)

Nitrile Style 9122 is a high performance, black Nitrile rubber sheet material manufactured by Garlock^®. It has a hardness of 60 durometer and withstands temperatures from -20 to 250°F (-29 to 121°C). This premium grade rubber material provides superior resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons, such as Oil, fuels, and many types of solvents.

Nitrile, also known as Buna-N, is a popular elastomer that is manufactured from a copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. This material is ideal for machinery gaskets and is perfect for those in and around oil and gas handling equipment due to its high resistance to oil and gasoline.
