Cork / SBR TS1521

Made from a blend of cork with Stryrene Butadiene (SBR) rubber, the TS1521 has an outstanding low sealing stress and is suitable for most lubrication fluids at application temperatures. It conforms to all present regulations for hazardous substances such as Asbestos Free, Heavy Metals (Pb, Cd, Hg and Cr (VI)) Free and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) Free. With a density of 34lbs/ft³, this material is good for use with water and seals well at temperatures of up to 230°F (110°C). It is suitable for Engine oil l (15W40) and Gear oil (75W90).

All cork rubber materials are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.
